A fine signed and dated 1891 oil on board by the French artist Voitler Billney. The beautiful and sensitive work depicts a portrait head study of a young girl with dark eyes and curly hair with highlights. Voitler Billney painted mostly North African scenes, so this is likely to be the artist's daughter. Excellent quality and condition portrait of the young girl.
