A wonderful impressionist oil depicting an artist at the easel painting the famous view up the Montmartre hill in Paris's 18th arrondissement. Surely a self portrait of the artist at work. Indistinctly signed lower left.
Very good and presentable condition, relined in the mid 20th century.
