A pair of well used mahogany artists palettes, with plenty of old paint remaining!
It is a shame that we do not know the name of the artist that used these palettes, as they would not have been cheap items and would only have been used by someone with some skill and reputation. All we do know is that we discovered them in Cornwall.
Late19th or early 20th century.
