René Philippe Delin was a Belgian artist who studied at the Académie Royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles, École Supérieure des Arts, and the Academy of Molenbee.
Some of his painting bears a close resemblance to the English canine artist, Frederick Thomas Daws (1878-1949), whom he may have discovered when visiting Crystal Palace, London in 1913, whilst judging poultry.
