Oleg Zinger was a Franco-Russian painter born in 1910. In 1922 he emigrated to Germany with his family where he worked in advertising.

He designed posters for London Transport from 1933-1937. In 1949 he won a prize at the international poster competition in London. Many of his poster designs were for London Zoo.

After the war in 1948 he moved to Paris, where he continued to work in advertising, alongside his painting. He exhibited paintings in Germany at Galerie Faust, Altona Gallery and Gallery 42. In France he exhibited at least once a year in the 1960's, mainly in Paris, but also in Auvergne, Marseille and Lille.
