Wonderful sign written travelling china box from Verneys Restaurant of Beckenham, London.
Similar to the popular 'Eggs in Transit' boxes, this one would have been used by Verneys to transport china, possibly for outside catering.
Verneys was a restaurant located on Beckenham High Street in the 1960's (and possibly earlier). Please see final photo.
Early 20th century. Excellent condition, with all original ironwork.
