Description
A beautiful early 20th century post-impressionist oil on board depciting horses pulling hay by the Belgian artist Cecile Mersch. Presented in its original gilt frame by Gabriel van Thienen, Bruxelles.
Condition:
Excellent condition.
Artist information:
Educated at the Academy in Brussels (1936-1937). Exhibited at the Quadrennial Art Salon of Belgium in Brussels in 1939, with the "Polydore Beaufaux" association in 1959, in the Gallery "Le Cloitre " in Waver in 1962. Participated in the ‘Vierjaarlijkse Kunstsalon van Belgie’ in Brussels.
