A beautiful early 20th century impressionist oil on canvas depicting mixed chrysanthemums in a vase, by Gabrielle Bisschops.
Excellent quality work by this female Belgian artist. Inscribed on the reverse by the artist with her name and address in Auderghem, a suburb of Brussels.
Under her address the artist has written one word in French "Joucis" which means "Enjoy". How lovely! Presented in its original gilt frame.
