A wonderful early 20th century travelling small plates box from Verney's Restauramt of Beckeham, London.

Similar to the popular 'Eggs in Transit' boxes, this one would have been used by Verneys to transport small plates, possibly for outside catering.

Verneys was a restaurant located on Beckenham High Street in the 1960's and earlier. Please see final photo.

Excellent condition, with all original ironwork.
