Fine 19th/20th century oil on canvas laid on board portrait of a handsome young man wearing a white shirt and dark waistcoat. The books on the sitters right side surely indicate an association with writing and he looks every inch the romantic poet. He looks familiar, but we can't place him. A very interesting portrait with lots of potential for further research
