A beautiful oil on canvas seascape depicting the view from Portminster by the St Ives artist Michael Quirke. Excellent quality and condition modern British seascape presented in its original painted frame. Signed with initials lower right and further signed and inscribed on the reverse.

Portminster is just a short walk from the centre of St Ives in Cornwall and features an award winning beach.

Artist information:

Michael Quirke was born in 1946. He studied at St Martin’s School of Art in London before moving to St Ives where he became a member of the art community. His contribution to the art community earned him the role of President of the St Ives Art Club.
